Senior winemaker Andrew Koerner is assisted by winemaker Chris Smales. Chris joined Blue Pyrenees in 2003 after gaining valuable experience overseeing production of Varietal red and white table wines at wineries in the Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley and Coonawarra wine regions.
Each year a ‘vintage’ winemaker assists the team to enlighten with new ideas and expertise. In 2009 flying winemaker Zane Katsikis, Greek born, raised in America and based in France, entertains and enlightens the team! Zane works three vintages every year across Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Rhône, Greece, Italy, California, Spain, New Zealand and Australia.
