World's Greatest Shiraz

The 2013 Richardson Reserve Shiraz was named as the Top Wine in the $100 – $200 category of the recent Mainfreight World’s Greatest Shiraz Challenge, runner up overall to the 2014 Penfolds Grange ($1,100 per bottle).

While this wine is a brilliant cellaring proposition, it has had some time in the Estate cellar and is drinking superbly. Only available directly from the winery.

Great Australian Shiraz Challenge

The 2017 Section One Shiraz has again won the Trophy for Best Victorian Shiraz at the Great Australian Shiraz Challenge. This is the wine’s third Best Victorian Shiraz award across vintages 2013 to 2017. An elegant Shiraz, co-fermented with a small amount of Viognier, this wine is drinking brilliantly but will cellar for ten years plus. We also love it with Lamb Shoulder – see the recipe here).
