Blue Pyrenees Estate — originally called Chateau Remy — was established by the French company Remy Martin in Western Victoria during the early 1960s with a vision of producing outstanding quality Australian brandy. Small stocks of aged brandy in the Blue Pyrenees Estate museum are remnant of the Remy era. This brandy was used to make Christmas puddings in collaboration with artisan local bakers Silver Penny Puddings.
